About Us

Built on a Belief That Planning Is a Gift

Nirantara exists to help adults in Thailand approach estate and legacy planning with knowledge, calm, and care.

Our Story

Nirantara came about from a straightforward observation: many Thai families with significant assets — homes, savings, family businesses — had never sat down to consider what would happen to those things. Not because they were indifferent, but because the subject felt difficult to approach, and the legal language surrounding it felt distant.

Founded in Bangkok by a small group with backgrounds in law, education, and family advisory work, Nirantara set out to change that. We designed structured courses that explain Thai succession law in plain terms, address the emotional dimensions of legacy conversations, and give participants the knowledge to take meaningful action.

The name Nirantara — meaning continuous, unbroken — reflects what we believe legacy planning is about: the careful continuation of what matters most from one generation to the next.

Our Mission

To make estate and legacy planning genuinely accessible to adults across Thailand, regardless of how complex or simple their circumstances may be.

Thoughtful, structured, and free from pressure. We believe informed participants make better decisions — for themselves and for the people they care about.

Standards We Hold Ourselves To

Every course is designed and delivered with these commitments in mind.

Legal Accuracy

All course content is reviewed against current Thai civil law before delivery. We update materials whenever relevant legislation or guidance changes.

Participant Confidentiality

Personal and financial details shared during advisory sessions are treated with strict confidentiality. We do not share participant information with third parties.

Small Group Format

Sessions are kept to a manageable size so participants can ask questions freely and engage with the material at a comfortable pace.

Sensitivity in Delivery

Estate topics involve mortality, family dynamics, and deeply personal decisions. We approach every session with care and without pressure.

Practical Outcomes

Each course concludes with concrete documents, templates, or professional referrals so participants leave with something they can act on.

Professional Network

Participants in the comprehensive programme gain access to a vetted network of estate planning lawyers and financial advisors across Thailand.

Estate Planning Education in Thailand

Thailand's succession framework is governed primarily by the Civil and Commercial Code, and it differs in meaningful ways from the legal traditions many expatriates or internationally mobile families may be familiar with. Understanding how intestate succession works — and where a formally drafted will changes the outcome — is the foundation of all sound planning.

Nirantara's courses address these fundamentals before moving to the more specific questions of property transfer, trust structures, and the coordination of multiple asset types. The aim is always the same: to give participants a clear picture of their situation and the options available to them under Thai law.

For adults over 40 in Bangkok and beyond, the time to begin thinking about estate and succession matters is typically well before those decisions feel urgent. Nirantara's programmes are built around that reality — approachable, well-paced, and free from the complexity that can make this subject feel distant or overwhelming.
